When Not to Wear Jewelry

We recommend removing your jewelry before swimming, showering, sweating, or sleeping, as moisture and daily wear may affect the gold-plated finish. It is also best to take it off during any activity that may put stress on the chain, clasp, or delicate components.

Be sure to remove rings during activities that may cause impact or scratching, such as sports, exercise, dishwashing, housework, gardening, or lifting heavy objects.

Also remove rings when in contact with harsh chemicals, such as cleaning agents. These substances may leave residue or cause tarnishing on the metal.

Care Guide for Metal-Set Jewelry

We offer a complimentary 30-day warranty service on all metal-set jewelry sold in our store. If your ring shows scratches, or any other damage or deformation, please feel free to contact the JEWELLERYISLAND customer service team at any time – we will be delighted to assist you.

If your ring is frequently exposed to corrosive substances or chemicals, regular maintenance or repair is recommended. We suggest polishing the ring every 1–3 years to maintain its luster.

JEWELLERYISLAND is confident in the quality of our products, and it is uncommon for the main stone to become loose. However, this may occur if the ring suffers a strong impact. Should you notice that the set stone has become loose, remove the ring immediately and store it in a safe place. Regardless of the cause, please contact our customer service team.
